Every year International Calendar sales raise tens of thousands of dollars. These proceeds fund educational and self-help development projects around the world.  For example, we have funded the Community Garden Program in Madison, a Tillers International project in Tanzania, and building schoolrooms in Vietnam.  Specific allocations also help support the National Peace Corps Association and Peace Corps Partnership projects.

If you are a member of the Returned Peace Corps Volunteers of Madison, you can apply to sponsor a project.  About $9,000 is available each year.  Donation requests must be submitted on the Project Application Form which are available as either a PDF or Word document.

Decisions to fund projects are made in April, and perhaps in October if funds remain. A committee will recommend projects to be funded and the amount of funding for each project. Generally, this information is published in that month's newsletter, so that the funding requests can be voted on at the general meeting.
