International Calendar - 2019

International Calendar 2019

The 2019 International Calendar is now available!

The following current or past Peace Corps countries are featured in the 2019 calendar: Mali, Indonesia, Ghana, Senegal, Philippines, Nicaragua, Colombia, Nepal, Haiti, Mongolia, Argentina, and Turkey. The 2019 cover photo was taken at the renowned Pushkar Mela livestock fair in Rajasthan, India.

In addition to compelling photographs and interesting information about the culture and people of each featured country, every dayblock of the calendar includes an event, holiday, or holy day that is observed somewhere in the world—from independence days to annual market days to the birthdays of notable people.

Want to know when to expect meteor showers or solar eclipses? Or when the Rose Moon will be at its peak? The International Calendar has all of that and more—including the timing of all new moons and full moons. You can even look ahead to 2020 to know when to expect these astronomic moments in 2020 as well as the important moveable holy days in various calendar systems. Finally, for each featured country in the 2019 calendar, you’ll find recipes to try and films, music, and literature to explore.
